Attending Art School in Cincinnati

Cincinnati is Ohio’s second city and although its cultural scene is not quite on par with Cleveland, there are still plenty of well-established museums and galleries.  The art scene in Cincinnati is currently undergoing a bit of renaissance so it is a great place to be an art student.  Compared to New York, San Francisco or Chicago, Cincinnati is relatively inexpensive.  This means less time working to pay your way and more time spent working on your art….or going to the pub with friends.

Those that would like a university education resulting in a Bachelor or Masters degree can choose from either the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning or the School of Architecture and Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati.  Degree programs are offered in Digital Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design and Architecture.

The Art Academy of Cincinnati offers a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, which can include courses in Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Graphic Designs and General Art.

Associate degrees in various design disciplines are available from the Art Institute of Cincinnati and the Art Institute of Ohio @ Cincinnati
