New Mexico Art Schools

Known as "The Land of Enchantment," New Mexico has been luring artists with more than just its nickname. Famous for its photogenic landscapes and the unique blend of natural light that many career artists swear by, New Mexico hosts a 21st century blend of Mexican, Native American, Spanish, and Anglo-American culture that can't be found anywhere else. Santa Fe, the state's capital and third largest city, has become something of an international arts center. The city features many art museums, including one honoring late resident painter Georgia O'Keefe.

New Mexico Design Schools

While fine artists find plenty of inspiration in New Mexico, design students can also find a challenge in the state's contemporary mixture of innovative architectural styles, traditional Pueblo settlements, and popular ranch-inspired residences. Degree programs in photography, digital filmmaking, and music at an art or design school in New Mexico can help turn your love for the vibrant landscapes of the Southwest into a rewarding career.
