Nebraska Art Schools
Nebraska offers art and design students great art, innovative architecture, dynamic cities, and good old fashioned Midwestern hospitality. Architecture students can draw inspiration from Nebraska's State Capitol building in Lincoln. Designed in 1920, it was the first statehouse in America to depart from traditional statehouse plans and include an office tower.
Nebraska's Art & Design Scene
Omaha, Nebraska is a large, dynamic city with many art and design colleges--and a lively arts scene to support career development for students. Music students will love the city's Qwest Center, a key venue for legendary musicians and pop stars. Visual arts students can supplement their courses with visits to the acclaimed Joslyn Art Museum, a Smithsonian affiliate and Nebraska's largest art museum. The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, an international artist-in-residence program, brings the latest in international art and design to the heart of Nebraska.
