Delaware Art Schools

To promote the arts throughout the state, the Delaware State Department created the Delaware Division of the Arts. Delaware's state government has also funded numerous exceptional art museums, including the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, and the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover. Delaware's attractive countryside, filled with lush woodlands, wetlands, flowered meadows, and grassy dunes, lends itself to an artistic aesthetic.
